Using the Shopping Cart

Instant buying at a fixed price. An item listed as a 'Buy Now' is a fixed price item which you can buy immediately, without placing a bid and waiting for the auction to close to find out if you're the winning bidder. You use the Shopping Cart to manage and checkout your purchases.

Step 1: Add to Cart

To buy items on the site, just click on the 'Add to Cart' button on the Item Page. (If you click on the 'Buy Now' button, you will not be able to buy multiple items.) Clicking on the 'Add to Cart' button will lead you to the Shopping Cart page. You may continue shopping on the site and keep adding the items to the Shopping Cart in this manner.

Once you have added all the items that you wish to buy to the Shopping Cart, click on the 'Buy Now' buttons on the Shopping Cart page to process the order. Please note that the Shopping Cart automatically puts all items from the same seller together, which enables you to process all those items as a single order. This also makes placing the order easier since you have to choose the Payment Method and specify the Shipping Details for all the items only once.

Step 2: Select quantities and product options

Clicking on the 'Buy Now' button will take you to the Order Details page where you can review and modify your order:

1. Adjust the quantity of the item that you wish to buy.
2. Select other options that the seller may have provided. Example: If the seller is selling T-Shirts, he may ask you select the size, or color.

Step 3: Select the shipping option & delivery address

You can specify/update your delivery address as well as select a shipping option provided by the seller. You can also update your contact/registration details on the same page if you want future orders to be delivered to your new address.

The next step will display the order summary and will allow you to go back and modify the order or proceed with the order confirmation.

Step 4: Confirm and Submit your order

Clicking on "Confirm your Order" will complete your order and present you with the payment screen:

• If you have selected bobPay EFT you need to follow the guide to get the correct payment details and you need to use the correct payment reference. (Use of the incorrect payment reference will delay your order as it can not be automatically processed)
• Payments via credit card, PayPal or PayFast are instant and you will make the payment on the subsequent payment screens.
   

Once you have submitted the order, you will receive an email giving you the order and seller details. Contact the seller if required and collect your item. If you are buying multiple items using the Shopping Cart, click on the 'Shopping Cart' button to continue with other orders.
